Surya School of Performing Arts, based in Bangalore, was founded by Guru Smt Poornima Sankar Kaushik. The school imparts Bharathanatyam training for students of all ages.
Poornima has been a practitioner for more than 4 decades and has been teaching this dance form for over 22 years

Surya School of performing arts was started in the year 2003 by Poornima in Coimbatore. The school later moved to Bangalore in the year 2009. Children and adults learn Bharathanatyam through tailored classes both in person & virtually.

Smt. Poornima Sankar Kaushik

Poornima was initiated into the Vazhuvoor style of Bharathanatyam from the age of five. After her Arangetram at ten, she has been dancing to diverse audiences in India and other countries. Dance has always been her passion.
